Czech Republic: New Toll Prices from 2026
From 1 January 2026, new prices will apply to the electronic motorway vignette in the Czech Republic. The annual adjustment is based on legal requirements and is aligned with inflation and network expansion.
Why do I need a vignette in the Czech Republic?
To use motorways and selected expressways in the Czech Republic, vehicles with a permissible gross weight of up to 3.5 tonnes are required to have a valid electronic vignette. The traditional adhesive vignette has been completely replaced by the digital e-vignette.
Which vehicles require an e-vignette in the Czech Republic?
The e-vignette requirement applies to motor vehicles with a permissible gross weight of up to 3.5 tonnes when using motorways or toll roads in the Czech Republic. This generally includes passenger cars, motorhomes and light commercial vehicles.
Trailers do not require a separate vignette. Only the gross weight of the towing vehicle is relevant.
